Class/Sessions in March

Our schedule of classes/session meetings for November will be as follows:
K-5th gr & 1st Communion Prep:

Tuesdays, 03/11 and 3/25

from 6-8pm


6-12th grade youth (including first year Sacraments): Wednesdays,

03/12 and 03/26 from 6-8pm


Youth Confirmation: Sundays, 03/09, 03/23 and 03/30 from  6pm-8pm


Inclement Weather

In the event of class/session cancelations, we will post notices here on our website, we will send an e-blast, and an email to the email address used to register your child. If you are unsure of whether or not we have your email, please send it to paff@stjohnvancouver.org!

Class/Sessions in April

Lent is upon us! As such, our last regular meeting will be April 1st & 2nd, and we will close out our cohort with the week of our Parish Lenten Mission. Please remember that this week is part of our sessions, and have been included on our calendar as part of the requirements. These are meant for the whole family, and all ages are included. Please make it to as many sessions as possible, but be sure to come to at least the one on your regular day of attendance.

Our schedule of classes/session meeting for April will be as follows:

6-12th grade youth (including first year Sacraments):

Wednesday, 04/02 from 6-8pm


Lenten Mission:

Monday-Friday, April 7th-11th, at 5:00pm in English, 7:00pm in Spanish


First Holy Communion 2025

Important Dates for our 2025 First Communion Masses:


  • First Communion Retreat: Saturday, March 22nd from 9:00am- 3:30pm. Lunch will be served


  • First Reconciliation Dates will be scheduled at our Parent Meeting, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 8th at 6:30pm


  • First Communion Masses will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00am in Spanish and 5:00pm in English

Faith Formation Registration 2024-2025

Registration for our Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation classes is now closed. If you have any questions, please contact paff@stjohnvancouver.org or call (360) 360-2468.


Faith Formation- Children in grades K-5 who would like to continue to grow in their faith and who would like to learn how to apply our beautiful Catholic faith to everyday family life, or who will need to begin the first year of their preparation for First Communion.


First Communion Preparation- Children who attended last year and will be preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. This is only for those who attended Faith Formation last year.


Youth Sacramental Prep- Children who are in grades 6th-11th who have not received their First Communion and need to begin their first year of preparation.


Youth Group- All youth in 6th-12th grade who would like to participate in our youth activities or who will begin the first year of their preparation for Confirmation.


Confirmation Preparation- Youth 12yrs and older who would like to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and have been receiving Faith Formation in the past year.
