Catholic Schools

Preschool through High School

St. John the Evangelist supports families who choose a Catholic Education for their children. A Catholic education can be a tremendous gift for our students and consequently not only for our parish community but the community at large. Please see links below for the websites of the three Catholic elementary schools in Clark County and our local Catholic high school.

We are very pleased that our parish community financially supports our parish families who choose Catholic schools by paying a subsidy to local area Catholic Elementary Schools, in order that they receive a lower subsidized tuition rate. (Please note that the subsidy is only available for kindergarten through eighth grade: pre-school and high school are not eligible for parish subsidy.

In order to receive the parish subsidy, families must:

  1. Have an up-to-date parish census card (registration in the parish) on file at St. John the Evangelist.
  2. Annually complete a financial stewardship pledge card and do their best to fulfill the pledged gift.
  3. Attend Weekend Masses and participate in parish programs and activities offered at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Statement of Active Parishioner form must be completed each year for those requesting a parish subsidy. Click here to download the Statement. Return the statement to Lori via email or mail to Attention: Lori Jimerson, 8701 NE 119th St., Vancouver, WA 98662. If you have any questions, you may also call her at (360) 573-3325, ext. 104.
